Very expected game when 14th ranked DutchDen Helder (7-15) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Belgian Limburg United (13-9) 82-77 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Limburg dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Den Helder 's 32 and made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Limburg had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Jalen Blackmon (190-2002, college: Miami, FL) fired 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Power forward Aubin Gateretse (211-2001, college: Utah St.) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Limburg United's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Bryan Antoine (196-2000, college: Radford) produced 26 points and his fellow American import point guard Reggie Mesidor (183, college: Southeastern) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Den Helder players scored in double figures. Limburg United have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ZZ Leiden. Loser Den Helder keeps the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Zwolle.
